Stop at the front of the Château to set the scene and introduce the day.

The town of Versailles (our home!) to meet local market vendors & taste a range of cheeses & shop for our picnic lunch (cost not included).

Visit the Royal Gardens & Fountains.
- Stop 4 · 1 h
Park the bikes to follow in the footsteps of France’s most famous queen, Marie-Antoinette.
- Stop 5 · 1 h
Having worked up an appetite we lay out our authentic French picnic lunch by the Grand Canal. Picnic at guests cost.

Post picnic we explore the Château: State Rooms, King’s bedroom & Hall of Mirrors. We are proud to be one of the few tours licensed to guide inside.

Requirements & restrictions

- Thank you for choosing to ride with us in Versailles, we are so looking forward to meeting you in Paris & showing you our home town! We hope to make our experience one of the best days of your trip.
- Please meet us at the top level of the Gare Montparnasse train station, 15 minutes before the experience start time, under the Platform 20 & 21 sign. Below are some more detailed instructions, to help with your journey.
- If you are taxi-ing or walking to the station:
- Use the address below this will lead you to the best entry for our meeting point – simply head up the escalator and into the station to the Platform 20/21 sign – we will be there waiting for you.

- If you are travelling by metro:
- When you arrive at Gare Montparnasse, follow the signs towards Gare Montparnasse & Grandes Lignes then follow the escalators to the very top of the building. You will feel as if you are in a shopping mall, however if you follow the natural flow of traffic this will open up to the main hall for the trains (‘grandes lignes’).
- We will be waiting under the sign Platforms 20/21.
- Do feel free to come earlier for a coffee & croissant to kick start your day – on the platform level there are many little shops for coffees and snacks, such as Starbucks & Paul’s.
- All you need to bring is sunscreen, hats, some euros for your picnic lunch & comfortable clothes for riding. As we cannot ride inside the Hall of Mirrors or Inner Gardens (we tried!) do wear comfortable walking shoes/trainers.
