South Coast Day Tour Black Sand Beach & Waterfalls from Reykjavik

About this experience

Adventure through the dramatic landscape of Iceland during this full-day tour of the southern coastline. Explore lava fields, icebergs, and glaciers with help from a friendly, knowledgable guide. Visit the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and stop by the small village of Vik. Roundtrip transportation to and from selected locations in central Reykjavik is available.

Schedule

Start times: 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 10:30, 13:30, 14:30

1. Stop 1 · 20 min

   You can go behind this waterfall but we highly recommend waterproof clothing for this.

2. Stop 2 · 30 min

   At this waterfall can you climb stairs to the top of it and see it from above. In good sight can you also see Eyjafjallajokull.

3. Stop 3 · 30 min

   The Black Sand Beach is famous for it's basalt formations and the beautiful view on the Reynisdrangar. OBS: Always look at the waves they are very dangerous!

4. Stop 4 · 30 min

   You will be walking to the edge of the glacier and can even touch it.

• Please be ready at your designated pickup location at 8 a.m or 9 a.m. according to which departure you chose. Pickup starts at 8:00 (or 09:00) and can take up to 30 minutes.
