Schedule

Start times: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:30, 17:30

1. Stop 1

   We overfly the craters and lava fields from previous eruptions and learn about the history of Reykjanes peninsula.

2. Stop 2

   View the many lava fields and steaming craters of previous eruption at Reykjanes Volcano (also called Fagradalsfjall, Meradalir and Litli Hrutur) from 2021, 2022 and 2023.

3. Stop 3

   Colourful houses of downtown Reykjavík, Hallgrímskirkja Church

4. Stop 4

   Stunning Rock Formations and steep cliff by the coast. Spot the millions of birds nesting in the cliffs and view into the endless Atlantic ocean to the South

5. Stop 5

   We will pass by Keilir, a Pleistocene subglacial volcano estimated to be around 100.000 years old.
