Requirements & restrictions
- Ages: Infants 0–5, Children 6–11, Adults 12–99 years
- For tours including snorkeling please ensure you have shared your shoe size in Euro in order that we can have correct fin sizes available for you.
- Things to bring:
- Refillable water bottle, beach towel, water resistant reef friendly sunscreen, insect repellent, camera, snacks, money for personal expenditure.
- We do provide snorkeling equipment on all our tours but please feel free to bring along your own mask and snorkel. Not only will you be assured your mask fits your face properly and is comfortable and less likely to have leakage, it will also lower any health associated risks. We find that peace of mind goes a long way.
- For all water based activities we would advise wherever possible for your belongings to be in a ‘dry bag’ and to bring only the minimum requirement. It is also advisable if you intend to take a taxi or bus following your tour to carry a set of dry clothing.
- What to wear:
- Swimwear for water based activities, we recommend the use of a rash guard or t-shirt whilst snorkeling, loose lightweight clothing, sunglasses, sun hat, comfortable footwear.
- PLEASE TRAVEL RESPONSIBLY
- The following are a few simple tips that require very little effort on your part but which will help ensure that any effect you have on the locations you visit is positive rather than negative.
- Conserve energy: Be careful not to waste valuable resources. Use local resources sparingly. Switch off lights, air conditioning and fans when you leave the hotel room and don’t waste water.

- The Maldives is a Muslim country and care needs to be taken in relation to the dress code on local islands. Whilst it is acceptable for men to wear T-Shirts and shorts or swim shorts; females should avoid causing offense by maintaining a more conservative approach to clothes by wearing T-Shirts, loose shorts or sarongs. Whilst the islands we visit are more tolerant of guests wearing traditional beachwear, females should avoid wearing bikinis and swimwear unless on an uninhabited island, picnic island, sandbank, screened off tourist beach, dive boat or resort island
